Highly thought-provoking and insightful. Like science-fiction, only not. Makes you ponder whether the world and its species are better off with us, with us extinct, or never having had us occupy it to begin with. This book should be required reading for high school students-its an easy read, not alot of scientific jargon, and really gets your wheels spinning on important issues that must be dealt with. It's quite humbling to our species.
